Nearing the end of our writing adventure

I am sad that this one is the last. Before writing this posting, I have read all of my postings which are written during this semester. I think that although those are not perfect, there are a lot of efforts to write well. And many comments are impressive.   

First, I think my writing has changed a lot. At the first time, I am poor at making the construction of a sentence and organizing the essay. However, I have learned how to do that though the class and the assignment. So now, I can write the essay properly.

Next, I am going to continue developing my writing by any means. During the winter vacation, I plan to go Australia and make a lot of friends there and study writing with them. And on the next semester, I’ll take this kinds of classes because the class like this is very helpful to me.

I think not only me but also all of the students in this class have been improved their writing skills thanks to helping of the teacher, sarah. She has been always warm-hearted and good teacher.

    The college students have the right to experience a lot of things which are not only to study on the major, to do assignments and to prepare getting a job but also to join the clubs, to attend the seminar and to meet various people. Of course it is important to have the ability to get a high score because it is appraisal standard when I tend to get a job. However the life of the college students is not only for it. They are just students. They don’t have to be worried about getting a high score that much. Joining the club in the university, meeting various friends and partner, they could enjoy the life. So, the university should support for it, not for adding the computers for studying well. For example, if the university arranges the meeting room, the students can improve their conversation skills. And if the university builds the sports center, they exercise and take a rest enjoying the sports which they want to do.

Argument for Additional Computers

  What do you think of the additional computers in your campus? I think that the most university students answer the question positively. Of course, If you have personal laptop computer, it is not necessary. So you want to have a snack bar, the bigger bookstore, and so on. But there are many student who don't have the portable computer. I think that it is better to support for the additional computers.

 

  First, if the university have more computers, it can enhance the life of student. The purpose of the college students is academics in thin university. they have to use a computer to do assignments, perform research on the web and so on. it is one of the most important reason.

  Second, the college students also use computers for recreation and personal reasons such as SNS on the web, shopping, something like that. Those are for students' leisure time. I think that it is also important. And they have the right to use computer freely for personal reasons.

  I believe that it is better idea to add the computers than a snack bar and so on. Because the college students' purpose is academics. And the computers are good tools. If the university spend the money on whatever the students don't need, It is very wasteful.

The places in seoul

  Before entering the university, They doesn't have enough money to enjoy their free time. So they try to find not only the most cheep but also the latest fashion place. I think that there are many good place for young student in Myeng-Dong. When I was high school student, I went to there to eat the cheep and delicious food and to buy brand-new clothes with my friends in almost every weekend.

  During the life of university, They have many things to buy, experience and study. In Gang-Nam, There are various kinds of stores, academic places and cultural sites. Especially, There are most good english hack-kwons in Gang-Nam. So A lot of university students who want to improve their english skills enroll on english courses of them in Gang-Nam.

  After graduating, They may get a job and work in Jong-Lo. Because most working places are in Jong-Lo. It is very convenient to use public transportation in Jong-Lo. But the traffic is really bad during rush hour. And many office workers enjoy their free time at kind of bar with colleagues after working hours. So there are many bars, pubs and some places like that.

  The song is the best way to express the feelings. I always write my feelings like the song while writting my diary. ok. Actually it is very easy to write my diary. But? It is free! there are not the formal process. Just Like the song, i can be myself.

 

  I am poor at writting the essay. But I think that I can improve the writting skills. So I always practice to make a sentances in english when I have the opportunity to do that. I have not learn "the writting skills" formally. I write my diary every day in korean everyday. Actually writting the diary, it is not important to use the formal skill, i think. But someday i will be good at writting because of these.

 

  First of all, i brainstorm before i make a first draft. Brainstormimg helps me to come out some contents which is related to the topic. The second step is writting a draft. At the first Step, there are many contents. But if i do not organize these, it makes the side effect. The reader can not understand the essay well. Many contents have to be organized so that the topic is given to the readers. One draft is enough to be ready to writting the while essay. And then as i refer to the draft, i can complete the essay!



 

                                                                                        

Short introduction

Hi,
i am anna and my Korean name is Yeji, lee.
As i mentioned last clss, my major is chemical engineering and i'm from Bun-dang.
i went to the Ammerica this summer to study the MEMS which is related to my major.
it is exactly one of the semi-conductor industry. tooooooo difficult!
anyway, What i want to tell you is that although i have a exprience of being America,
i feel that i am poor at speaking in English.
i was confident to have a conversation with American friend at the Ammerican university.
but ....... as time goes by.................. i am very very very, just, only Koran.
so i want to practice to speak in English and write a essay at this class ^^

ok, i belive i can do it.
i am twins. i love my twin sister very very much.
her major is design. her major and my major are different a lot.
so it is interesting to know the other world, not my major.

and........
my hobby is swimming.
i always happy when i can be enjoying swimming.
when i have to represent about my future plan, my answer is that I want to be 'the happy'.
the word, Happy makes me excited and hopeful --- and so on.
